yeah i've got those seats, i was so close to having an mm, sucks to be me eh?! and in reference to the seats, unrivalled in looks to any other seat in a minor, unfortunately, dads M1000 seats are about a trillion times more comfortable on a run! of course i'll never tell him that!

I think MM seats are comfier too - no saggy straps that need replacing. I guess they were more expensive to make:

June '53 Series 2. Same seat just colour coded to the car by this stage. Black and grey cars got red seats. Excuse the rubbish in this car, its my daily runner at the moment :-?

The spare seat frames. Not pretty but sound enough for recovering?

MM seats were more expensive because they had to chase the horses to cut the hair to stuff them with!!

Of course. And it was that very rare breed of rubberised horse to get the rubberised horse hair from...
