Need mechanic in Brighton/E Sussex Area

Hi Folks, I've got a lovely old moggy pick up truck which has been modified with a morris ital 1300 engine. When driving her back up from Cornwall to Brighton last week the engine had a sudden loss of oil & the engine siezed up Such a shame as i was bringing her up to hopefully sell. Anyway i'm no mechanic, so i was wondering if anyone knows of someone in the sussex/brighton area who may be able to take a look at her. Any help or info would be much appreciated.

" Sudden loss of oil" ??? What happened ? If it has seized - then probably looking at another engine - or expensive rebuild of the one in the car! Budget for ~ £400 re-build parts cost plus cost of doing that work, plus cost of removing and re-fitting the engine if you can't DIY it. If you can't do ANY of it yourself - then you are looking at £700/800 - some places may want £1000 !!
