On eBay. Looking out for a car for my girlfriend whilst my traveller off the road and this looks like a fairly easy finish off TBH all hard work done, get her running and put the glass in....and your away!?!

Anyone seen this car before, I have on eBay but no idea why it never sold.

Strange one.

Best to have a look before buying any car on e-bay, and ask the owner why the last sale fell through. The thick covering of underseal might be covering a multitude of sins and it might need extensive welding to pass an MOT. Seems odd to respray a whole car but not the boot :-? and then leave it in a barn. And the ad doesn't say whether it's a runner or not.

There seems to be a bit more work required than just put the glass in and get her running. Personally if I was looking for a stop gap runaround I'd buy a cheap Minor with an MOT but perhaps not cosmetically perfect. Seen a few go for around the £700 mark so would probably work out cheaper than getting this one on the road. Don't forget that you'd have to add on the cost of transporting it to where you live - it's not particularly local.

On the other hand it could be a real bargain but you won't know until you look.

Well, a bit of welding wont be too bad. I can see the sence of getting it sprayed without sorting out welding etc.

Boots not a problem for re spraying but a whole car thats a little too much work, engine replacement and tarting up as well as wiring is not a problem, trimmings fine, just a whole respary is a little different.

Could be a nice easy stop gap! Looks alright, panel gaps dont look too bad either.
