Paint pot

Post by MarkyB »

While tinkering with the suspension the other day I was wishing I had some paint to hand just to touch up places where paint has flaked off or to put on if I drill a hole in the car.
I was thinking along the lines of touch up paint but on a bigger scale.
Maybe a ketchup bottle with the paint and a ball bearing inside and an artists brush cut down to live in the bottle.
Probably hammerite but I don't want to start a paint war.
Anybody do anything like this?
I know I'd be much more likely to put paint where it would do some good if I knew I could just do it without having to faff about cleaning the brush afterwards.

Uesed to get little 1/8 pint pots of paint - with a brush attached to the lid - in fact BMC had them for the standard colour range !
