that and a sense of adventure!

I tend to find that a lot of Minor owners have very little sense of adventure. To them, going to anoher county in their Minor is an adventure. However there's nothing wrong with that!
Minor owners are a very diverse group (millionaires and the penniless, etc...) On here though they seem less diverse - mainly due to madness.

As for no feeling in fingers - I find that picking up or holding steel parts that have recently been welded or ground off helps to reduce any feeling. This leads to an ability to hold even hotter things next time, and eventually gloves are not needed (unless you are nervous about removing fingers when the angle grinder slips)

I have always worked on the basis that if you have children over 30 then you are up for being called old. This theory has a number of holes ( not least that if you dont have kids then you dont get old, athough it does work on some levels) but there is a big difference between BEING, FEELING ans ACTING old.
i am 52, i dont qualify as old under my 30 year old child rule., i occasionally feel old but have no guilt about it ( i went paintballing recently and ducked out of one round because i was KNACKERED)
Acting old, i must put a thread on the website about getting old...oh, i forgot, i already have,the memory goes as as well

to back up rob hardy, at 22 i get called old by my friends for talking about my car so much. although i dont feel old(thank goodness at my age!!) my friends think i act old(SADMOG meets are like the best way for them to mock me!)

Yup I'm the same as Callum, I'm 16 (yes that means i was born in the 90s!!) but I always get called old by my friends for my taste in cars and also my 60s and 70s music and TV taste. I got mocked today for talking to a friend about TISWAS as apparently i shouldn't remember it.

The 30 yr old child thing doesnt work for me - Im 51 and have a 12 yr old daughter (who is terminally embarrassed by my inappropriate behaviour - singing / dancing in public) and a 3 yr old daughter - who recently called me Grandpa!!...but then I know Ive been old for such a long time that Im not too bothered
