Probably one of the best weekend events of the year, every where you look there are interesting cars from all ages, Minis, Mustangs,ERA's, Bugatti, Le Mans cars, Monteverdis, MGs,Maseratis, Lolas, GT40s, you name it it is there. Even 1 Morris minor in the Bonhams auction which I think went for nearly £5k!!!!!
Plus it is a one price ticket which gets you into Paddock, any grandstand and also into pit garages and close up to so many exotic bits of kit.
Spitfire and hurricane display, wing walkers, Bootleg beatles, some girls playing electric violins off TV, you name it it was there.
Suntan was quite good too.

Regardless of the Club, I think that as individuals it is a great event.
A lot depends on the perception of what is "good" within the Club. The event has an emphasis on Motor Sport in all its forms and whilst I love to see old rally cars performing and racing cars from the 1920s to 1990 being driven in anger I wonder if that is the general consensus within MMOC.
I can imagine that the modified Minors would be a real crowd puller and with these can be mixed in standard examples of the marque. This was evident on the Hillman display where the World Cup Hunter was next to an Imp Van, standard Minx, and various racing Imps, Clans etc.
I am always amazed, and I have been going there with my daughters for many years, how there is always something new around the next corner, be that a Bizzarini hiding under an awning or a fairground carousel or vintage aircraft.
I would recommend it to the Club and I would suggest that all car enthusiasts would find something to their interest.
The other thing about going as a Club is that you get centre field parking and "cheaper" tickets. My three day pass for car plus two people was £45.
