I have had a frog pond in the garden for the last 8 years and, although only about 2' x 3' it has had up to 18 frogs in. I've cleaned it out every 6 months and was alarmed this time round when I only found 2 and one of those was dead. Strangely enough shortly before this clean out we found our first newt.
Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.
