I went to a small classic car show today and happened to meet an old Cowley apprentice. As you can imagine we talked for ages about the old Cowley plant, and about the people we remembered from our time there. It really was a very interesting chat.
Anyway to cut a long story short, it turned out that in 1953 he had worked on the sectioning of a Morris Minor for show use, and still had a photograph of this. So just in case you have not seen it, I thought I would post a copy here.

That was part of the process BMC
A bigger version (if there is one) would be nice if it has to have red all over it!

When I expand it in 'Picture Manager' - it just goes out of focus. Useless really!

I think we had a caption competition a year or so ago with a picture of two well dressed 1950 ladies looking at a sectioned car. I've searched but can't find it.
Does antone else remember?
This message board is like a family - you can't choose the other members!! But remember engine oil is thicker than water.

When I get a moment I shall post a picture of the apprentices actually working on the car in my picture.
