Of course we appreciate that many of you would love to join us, but unfortunately for a number of reasons cannot do so. Therefore we would like to give you at least the opportunity of meeting up with us at some point. Perhaps you would even like to take in a part of the run.
If anyone is particularly interested in doing this, please let me know as soon as possible.
Thanks.

Hi there, what time are you planning on leaving Lands End? I'm Exeter-based but would like to do the first part of the journey. I've spotted 'early' in previous posts, so will travel down the night before (probably dragging the other half with me, although he's more of a modern sports car enthusiast rather than a classic car fan! )
Are we going to bother with the official Land's End sign photo again? IMO it was expensive for what it was, plus we had to wait for the photographer to arrive, faff around getting the cars into the fenced area around the sign, and there wouldn't have been room for a fifth vehicle in the shot.
How about if we bring a home-made sign instead and set it up in the car park?

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.
This year instead of having an 'official' photograph taken, I was planning to use the website banner (hence my post yesterday) combined with a home made one showing the relevent information.

I'm not against a bit of enterprise, but the LE prices seemed like robbery. I'd almost consider going to lizzard point instead.
I'm sure if someone produced a similar looking white signpost and stood outside LE, they could make a small fortune at £1 a go...

I can if you want. I do have lots of other stuff to sort out before the LEO though (like a car to get back on the road and another rally to plan!), so if anyone else wants to volunteer?

I know just what you mean Alex, spent most of yesterday involved with the LEO. Amazing how many other interesting places there are to visit en-route if only there was time.
Anyway I'll see what I can knock up
