Marina axle 1/2 shaft removal

Hi Guys

Does anyone know how to remove the 1/2 shaft from the marina axle?

Im guessing I want a slide hammer attached to the hubs?

I think the hub needs pulling off the shaft so the backplate can be removed then you may need a slide hammer to extract the shaft & bearing

Ive got a slide hammer if you need to borrow one

The hubs are off

(awful job, the 2 jaw puller just wasnt up to the job) the backplates were loose on this axle anyway. If I could borrow your slide hammer that would be fantastic!
