Post by DAVIDMCCULLOUGH »

Hmmmmm, we get the Belfast to Liverpool ferry tonight and its already being delayed by 2hours due to to severe weather. I looked up the met office site and it says nothing. At the moment the suns is shining but 20mins ago we had thunder and a REALLY heavy downpour.

It's fine and sunny here in northwest England and has been all day. There must have been very heavy rain overnight judging by the puddles in the car but it had stopped by the time I got up at 7AM.

Try:

and input your postcode. Usually closer to reality.

The good news for us arriving on Friday is that it should be dry to pitch the tents.

Those arriving on Saturday/Sunday should be supported by anyone with large umbrellas. I've borrowed one.....will help if I can.

And who knows, it could still be fine. Stranger things have happened.

Remember:

1. there are those folk in the world desperate for rain
2 mud is supposed to be good for the skin
3 it's unlikely to be as bad as Glastonbury
4 it brings commaraderie to the event
5 you add your own positive comment........
