I think I have been a bit dense here, but I went to Cheddleton today and not only were the steam trains not running, I couldn't see any Minors!

Guessing you guys were at another station?

The Minor Rally was at Kingsley & Froghall Station; there was also an Austin 7 rally at another station. The Steam Engine they were planning to use today broke down this morning which is why they were using the class 73 diesel.

Did you not ask the staff at Cheddleton ?- they would have told you where we were.

Anyway you missed a fine rally with 58 entrants bathed in glorious sunshine.

A really good day, shame my Traveller decided to be grumpy on the way down but a bit of tinkering and all was well on the way home.
