I have been going through my MOUNTAIN of car related paperwork and have found a receipt for a car I don't own (and have never owned).
It is for a Morris Minor registration RLG 601D. It is not the original purchase receipt but for a second hand purchase when it was one year old. The DVLA say it is currently taxed so the owner must be out there somewhere
If you own this car or know who does and would like the receipt I would be more than happy to pop it in the post.

Just a thought, if anybody from the MMOC is reading the forum could you have a look at the membership records and see if this car is a member. if it is i could post it to the club and they could forward it on

Terry, I have taken a note of the reg. no. and will ask for the details - but it will have to wait for a week and a bit as we - Office and Committee are a bit tied up with the National Rally. If I get any more info I'll post it on the Board.
Tied up with trivial things like the national when there are important matters like my old receipt collection to deal with, terrible!
I have left borehamwood. I'll update my profile when i get a moment. glad the trav is running well. probably better than my 2 door at the moment the MOT is about to expire and it needs some work(boot floor, rear spring hangers). It will be making it's way in to a barn at the end of the month (hopefully not to be forgotten about then re-discovered in 10 years time as a "barn find"
