Need your help to get my MM 1000 1961 Saloon imported

Post by Alpenflitzer »

I have a questionnaire necessary to be filled in with a heck of technical questions to get the MM registered in Austria  about Breakes, Brakepressure, Top speed (standard ), Noise in db, transmission details etc.
Whjere cann I find these techn ical data without searching to buy a book. Takes too much time.
Thanks for your help.

P.S. Does anyone know a fair transporter to get the car from Basingstoke to e.g. Cologne?

thought i was going to be able to help on this one but im out of my depth!
it might be worth checking about how much of theat info is nessesary, I say that because when registering a car here, apparently there are a lot more checks if the car is under 10 years.

Good luck with that lot though.
Brakes - Drum all round
Brake pressure ????
Top speed depends on the model but is probably listed in the haynes manual
DB levels - your local track might be able to help on this because over here cars need to be checked pre race for noise levels.
Transmission - 4 foreward + 1 reverse.
