evening all
Quick newby-type question:
What type of grease are you supposed to use to pack the hubs once you have cleaned out the grease caps? I'm talking about just the part of the hub you get access to by removing the grease cap. Will ordinary "multipurpose" grease do the job?
cheers for all advice

Don't pack the little hub caps - just a bit of grease in there is fine. Ideally you should pull each hub off - clean it out carefully - and then repack each bearing (after check it runs smoothly with no grease present) and refit with a new split pin (front hubs). Yes - any ordinary grease is fine - although Moly grease will do no harm.

Remember the left-hand hub nut has a left-hand thread.

You're only going to need it once!
