national intrigue...and...

Post by callyspoy »

SORRY! thats for starting yet another thread about the national. can anyone, if you would be so kind, give me basic run down as to what is happening. only just found out i will not be working the weekend of the national, so thought maybe i could come along...ive read the many threads, but kind of want a simple run down. ie-if camping when can i come along, where is the place, where can i find the place to pay, blah blah blah...
again REALLY sorry!

oh...and is there a web rally?!

You've missed the web rally, it was on 4th May.

But we normally seem to have 2 web rallys a year so there will be another one in the nearish future no doubt...

I'd be happy to organise another, let me know what sort of do you want, and where you want it (just so long as its a good few weeks after the National) :)

How about late July - time to recover from the National before Bandon and the Isle of Wight.. Somewhere we could take a picnic (and cake) but near a pub?

You can go off some people (Bill) 8)
How about the 'British Mini Showdown' at Shakespeare County Raceway on 12/13 July. Nice field to park in, and some competition to race against, plus lovely drives out to Chipping Camden, Broadway etc.

I'm happy to try again if people really really want. But its going to be beaulieu or Bentley Wildfowl and Motor Museum in Sussex. But then people will complain at me that its too far south.
