stupid question number 3000078000024

Post by wibble_puppy »

hi guys,

how do you fit the oblong pad which goes on the clutch pedal as a draught seal? :o

This is the part I'm on about.

As far as I can make out, it sits on an oblong metal bracket at the bottom of the clutch pedal. So to fit it, it has to slip over either the pedal itself or the bottom of the pedal and the oblong bracket. Neither is gonna fit through that leedle slit in the centre of the pad.

Any ideas?

I think it just stretches over the pedal, after temporarily removing the rubber cover.

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.

Must have missed one or two

I am impressed that you are putting so much effort, on mine the holes down the bottom let out the water that comes in through the top holes :D :D :o
