wireing rev counter
hi all i am just fitting a rev counter in my mogey its a electronice one on the back its got coil & + .& - the neg is wired up to the light the coil one goes on to the + or - on the coil & were does the + go neil

The rev counter connects to the same terminal that goes to the points. I think that might be the - coil terminal on a negative earth car but don't take my word for that.

Hi Neil, Ive just fitted a Rev Counter and found this site really useful:

Mine is a RVC type counter compatable with electronic ignition, the RVI counter is compatable with points.
terminal 1 is for the power
terminal 2 is for trigger lead which will go to terminal on coil marked 'cb' or earth
terminal 3 is earth
