i will be there on sunday but have never been to a big rally before. What is the proceedure, book in advance and then just wing it on arrival or is more arranged than that?

Booking in advance is a bit cheaper (£12.50 vs. £15.00 on the day) and then it's just do what instructed when you get there re. where to park and the like.
I'll be there on the Saturday with Jasper.
Jasper, 1957 4-door saloon, running restoration project & financial black hole. Scruffy but increasingly reliable.
After the comment above for the uninited me and Matt are twins, not identical twins, but we do have a very strong resemblance. The easiest way to tell us apart for those who don't know us is that I have a beard.
I don't think you look even slightly similar Do people really have trouble telling you apart? Better keep the beard, then (no, on second thoughts, beards are seriously rough and orrid *faxes you a Bic*)

Yes, people do have problems!
Thanks for the fax, but the beard is staying. I look far better with than without.
And just to throw a new ball into the mix my trav is very nearly legal
