quarter light

:-? I have just received the bottom half of a 1/4 light hinge to put on the near side, (there was one missing when I bought the car) can anyone tell me the easiest way to fix it on, and also where I can get the screws and what size they are ?.

I think ESM and Bull motif both sell the screws, ill have a good look at my 1/4 light and see if i can figure out the best way to put it on.

The screws are a 2BA thread and I think they are 1/4 long (or short)

Very fiddly job, you need about four hands especailly if your also putting in new quarter light rubbers. First thing put a sheet or similar on the floor so its easier to find the screw WHEN you drop them!!

Put the 1/4 in the locating pin and then put the hinge into the top part, use a small straight screwdriver to line the bottom holes up and then insert the top screw, be sure the threads are in correctly as it very easy to crossthread. This makes it sound easy but its just a matter of taking your time and trial and error.....
