Me and my dad have recently purchased an MOT'd and Taxed 1965 Moggy 4 door saloon. It runs and drives beautifully. However it has been attacked by the dreaded tin worm. The rust is pretty comprhensive. Its attacked the sills one chassis leg needs to be replaced, the crossmember, inner wings, outriggers, wings etc. I've taken it to a local place and they've told me its beyond economic repair and just to sell it on while I can. However me and my dad have grown really attached to it and don't wanna let it go.
Do you people think we're mad? I mean lets face it pretty much every panel it needs is available and reasonabley priced, so there's no reason not to do it. Plus it'll save at least one more minor!! Worked out panels are prolly gunna be Around £600 which is more than I originally spent on the car but I have no idea how much welding will be!!
Anyway here are some pics to see what you think (photo's are from when I put it on ebay on Tuesday in a fit of apathy)

And some of the Grot:

Words of encouragement and advice welcome!! Especially about where the cheapest place to get panels is and also where would do the Welding for a reasonable price in the NE.
Thank You
Tom
