nice photos bill i wish i had come,but i had committed my self to the web site rally.was that a mk 5 spitfire or a rare mk 1,it looks early because of the size of the oil cooler and one rad

Thanks Dale, it was a really good day. Here are a couple more shots, and as you can see North Wilts also had a stand.

Sorry, can't help you with the Spitfire, not an expert I'm afraid

But it was a lovely display, and the plane towing 2 gliders (last picture of original posting) was amazing

I thought I recognised that black car, but couldn't remember where from.... now I know! If I'd known I would have said hello, I was in the smoke grey saloon parked with the North Wilts branch.

Yes it's shame we didn't meet Lynda. I spent a considerable time on your stand as well
