Fromt flexible brake pipe renewal

Post by southerly95 »

Could someone remind me - when replacing the front flexible brake hoses do you tighten the hose onto the wheel cylinder first? I recall there is a locknut on the chasis side that tightens the hose without having to rotate the hose itself? Many thanks, John

Indeed - the problem usually is in getting that locknut undone in order to remove the old hose without wrenching the little bracket off the car.
