Where canI get some Trafalgar Blue paint?
Used as a daily runaround and not being able to contemplate a re-spray at the moment...I need to deal with some areas of rust on the body of my 4 door 67 saloon. All of the areas requiring attention are small and when I have dealt with the rust I will need to paint. Which is the best approach? Using spray paint (difficult as such small areas and awkward places) or brush-on touch-up? In either case, does anybody know where I can order some Trafalgar Blue? Would appreciate some advice. Thanks.

Regarding Trafalgar Blue paint I suggest that you look at the 'sticky ' above . It appears there are two such colours . You may find the best approach is to take the car to an automotive paint suppliers who will be able to match it. Spray or brush is personal choice , you may be able to flatten the inevitable brush marks by polishing .

Yes, there are 2 Trafalgar Blues! 1969 and 1971/2 the latter was used for Morris 1100 and is a little lighter. the early 1969 is correct (BU 37 I think) for Minors. Unfortunately the shade does fade with age so new paint does not quite match for a few weeks. UV soon tones it in!

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.

Steve if you only need a small amount say 1 spray can or 1 touch up can you can get it made up in Halfords for £10-99 for the spray and £7.99 for the touch up all you need is either the colour code or name and get them to look it up under BLMC and they will mix you some up while you wait, I have this done a couple of times and the match has been as good as any.
For the Old English White see Rover Arum White which is available of the shelf.
