Moden touch glass weather strip
Just fit the new type side window weather strip- moden touch glass type that replaces the old felt ones :- http://morrisminorspares.co.uk/shop/adv ... c23e09495a : The front window seals when on fine but the back doors was a nightmare. The window does not wined down enough to clear the last three clip holes. This is what I had to do. First remove the winding mechanism, then remove the window frame nearest to the hinge. This then gives just enough room to allow the window to drop down to clear the top of the door. Allowing just enough room to get the clips in but it is very tight.

Ye peetee you might get away with it if you are re-using the original clips. But the new replacement clips are longer and would never fit with the glass there. I also removed the stop you mentioned Roger. However it still would not go down enough to get the last two clips in. That’s when I removed the hinge side of the window frame. That then allowed the glass to move sideways towards the hinge away from the curve of the door and this in turn allowed the window to drop just enough to get the clips in.
