I know we've been here a few times, but would like to find a engine paint outlet that stocks a reasonably accurate shade of green, any clues please?

I believe its correct shade was called Brunswick Green, I think Dennis has a set of the colour chips ? if so can you see if its listed with the ICI code if so I will make a sticky post if its correct.
Just done a quick search and it appears there are 3 shades of it

So presumably go to your nearest paint wholesaler who deals with the public, quote the BS number and they will mix a 1/4 litre?
I assume any gloss paint or plant enamel will be ok for the engine?
Whats the nearest B&Q paint shade?

I used Bull Motif's 'original engine paint' TIN 103.

Yes, the paint they supply in tins is a bit too bright, not sure if they sell a different shade in aerosol.

hello les the sparay tins are all the same, the brush on one is slightly darker, why not try the brunswick green, or the other colour is from land rover and is the correct shade
