Marina Wheels

Post by Jefftav »

Hi All,

Not strictly minor related but would anyone know what the PCD for 13" Marina wheels is? I think it is different to the Minors.

Thanks, Jeff

Marina Wheels

Post by Jefftav »

OK Thanks,

This car has a Marina rear axle and all the hubs suit the Marina wheels. I have front hubs but can the Minor hubs be fitted to a Marina axle so that Minor wheels can be fitted to the car?

Thanks again, Jeff

If you're just after 14" wheels, why not take a look at Montego steel rims? same PCD as the Marina/ Ital/ most Triumphs/ Rover (K series) Metros etc.

Likely to be offset problems though, I'd have thought

True, but that might be easy enough to overcome depending on just how far out they are.

I've seen MG Maestro wheels on a Dolomite and apparently everything went on fine, no rubbing etc. Not sure about bearing life of course!

Certainly worth a look I'd have thought if it is just a quest for "proper" sized wheels:)

Indeed - it's just that there's stuff all room to play with between wheel and kingpin, and I'd be reluctant to use spacers on Minor studs.

Hi All,

I appreciate the advice but I would like minor wheels hence my questions about changing hubs to suit the MM PCD. Apologies for not explaining this earlier. Jeff

You can buy redrilled marina front hubs from ESM.

Im looking at redrilling a rear axle, but im not sure its possible. 14" maestro wheels fit, and just clear the trunnion, but its very tight (with 185/65/14 tyres), I have 3mm spacers on the front wheels to make sure they clear.
