Hi guys
How difficult would it be to redrill a marina rear axle? I know the front hubs are possible and not particularly difficult.
I appreciate the drums will need to be drilled too

It will be possible - but quite a job (hubs + half-shaft + drums) - and will need to be done very accurately. And as Alec says - will the hub be strong enough in the new location ? Surely the holes will also then need to be 'splined' to hold the wheel studs? Marina axle as standard gives the ideal set-up for using MGF 15" wheels with no drilling required!

I know all about the avaliable wheel options... Accurate isn't a problem,
ESM sell redrilled front hubs on an exchange basis, so redrilling the front must be practical.
As far as I am aware the wheel studs are much harder than the surrounding metal, and as you knock/pull them in they cut their own splines
