Marina disc options

Post by flc »

This has probably been covered a thousand times in the past but.
I have just got hold of some complete legs/brakes from an 1800 marina,
ive seen some info on using a bearing converter kit, and also some mention of using the minor hubs, can anyone tell me the options i have, i will be changing the wheels anyway (to some wider steel rims)
so pcd difference is not a problem, thanks in advance Mick.

When I got the kit from Grumpy's it came with turned spacers to adapt the Marina bearings to the Minor stub axle and Marina hubs which had been modified to change to a Minor's PCD. I think the calliper bracket bolts straight on as long as you drill out the 4 bolt holes on the Minor upright slightly. It was a few years ago now so memory's a bit vague, sorry.

I guess you'll just need the turned spacers if you can find someone who still makes them. ESM took over Grumpy's stock when they stopped trading so try giving them a ring.
