Hello All
After some careful consideration, it has been decided (by me) that after short listing several cars as potential classic purchases that the Morris Minor (Saloon version) has made it as the car I will buy as a classic. Of course I will join the MMOC as soon as I buy one , when I get the nicest example to buy!
Best wishes

Hi Reece,
Good choice!
Where are you located?
Its really useful if you put it in your profile.
INSTRUCTIONS
I think a saloon is a good practical choice with no woodwork to worry about. Two door or four? I have a four door and thought I'd have problems with the narrow doors, but in fact its been fine.
Originally you said you were looking for a late model. It didn't change much from late 1961 to 1971. I actually think the build quality fell off towards the end.
Happy hunting, and if your going to look at a car pop in here and see if anyone is local and give you a pointer or two..

This message board is like a family - you can't choose the other members!! But remember engine oil is thicker than water.
Hi Roger
Im located in Derbyshire/Notts region - number of doors doesn't really matter , as for age anything 60's. I spoke to some MMOCss members last year regarding what to look for, and their advice has helped me to avoid paying for over -priced rubbish so to speak. Expect getting one will be a steady and careful process -as someone said with each you car you reject brings you closer to the one that you are going to buy!
