Could anybody out there tell me if I can fit a set of seats out of a moggy 1000 into a 4 door 1956 splitscreen

Depends on the model of the moggy 1000. If it is also a 4 door then no problem! 
The front seats mount the same all the way through production on all the models, but the back seats do differ as the 4 door has a different shaped base to the 2 door saloon and the traveller is a totally different set up all together in the back.
