Alternator To Coil Wireing
HI- Can anyone help me before I set fire to my moggy, I have just done my engine up & forgot whitch wire goes where Its a 1098cc & it has coil & alternater, Could someone please tell me whitch wire goes where, I have 2 white with black line, 1 thick white, & one green I take it the green wire is for the oil switch but not sure about the others, Thanks DEREK;
Green/ yellow for oil, surely?
White is ign switched live - Goes to the pos side of the coil. White/ black is coil to dizzy, so goes on the neg side, the other white/ black goes on the dizzy terminal (or wire hanging out of it if someone's fitted a 45d in place of the original 25d).
If the green really is green, then it should go no the fuse bopx, opposite the whites.
