Mog Turbo rocket ship Help and advice
Hello fellow minor fans I finally got round to improving my moggy and boy does it rock and roll (quite scary sometimes but does make me grin)
I have uploaded video to my blog which which will be an ongoing thing with any luck. She's rotten and as usual I've done everything ar+e about face and this time I'm really gutted as it looks like I've just got a super quick reliable mog up n runnin and it'll be off the road for a while due to excessive rot and lack of cash.
Anyway I just read the article posted by the supercharged moggy owner! It sounds the nuts but juicy, my little mog doesn't really seem to be very thirsty for how quick it goes with its adjustable boost valve so i can go from 4 psi to naughty boost if I want to and I'm still on the original liquorice driveshafts! probably due to the way the boost comes in (its really noticeable).
This is my first blog on here since i signed up as I've been hoovering up information and now I'm ready to serv some info and experience up.
Please have a look at my website and click on the blog from there and look at the first video, any input would be appreciated I still have lots of questions as I've bodged some of it together and its going to have to be rectified.
I'm going to make a dvd of the restoration/pimping if theres any interest
(hopefully there will be or it'll take a lot longer!) no doubt there will be lots of pain, suffering, blue air and entertainment. I'm still mostly looking forward to making the interior for the beast true pimp my ride style cant wait to order the material for the seats.
watch the video blog and see what you think and get back to me with any comments or thoughts.
Phil

Not true I know a traffic cop and while it does appear on the onboard computer tax mot and insurance status. no tax or insurance is an instant towaway but no mot would result in a 7 day wonder which means you would have to get tested and the ticket stamped by the mot station then produce all your documents at the local copshop.

Oh so that makes it alright then
as long as your not doing anything illegal.
What makes your car special that it doesn't need an MOT then?

The pulling power of a Turbo Diesel! The voices may not be real, but they have good ideas.

I hope you've uprated the rest of the running gear to match. Unfortunately, no MOT means no insurance, and you have been perhaps lucky up to now, but trust me, luck doesn't last. If you have nothing to lose, then just continue in the manner you are, but if you are employed, have comittments etc, you will stand to lose the lot if you unfortunately injure someone or worse.
Likewise, if your car is structurally unsound, then you have to think about your passengers in the event of a bump - they may not be lucky.
Sorry if this sounds negative, as I was young once and have done some things I'm lucky to get away with, but it is sincere advice well meant.
