Ahh... you've been watching the 'Hamilton' show also.... I remember when they used to call it formula 1 :-?

Yes well done Lewis, and good to see the removal of traction control. Now skill is rewarded and mistakes punished, as it should be in sport. Pretty good race by F1 standards, even if only 7 cars finished out of 22. Just think, if anyone had entered their Morris Minor, you would have scored 1 F1 point for 8th place. :D

I'd like to ask if anyone else heard Coulthards comments regarding Massa?

It was a good race, and it looks like we are going to have a good season. And Moggytech, a minor would not meet the bodywork shape requirements!

Yes - can't think why they deleted the 2nd half from the rerun show

Sadly, a Minor wouldn't have finished 8th even if it had been allowed to enter :( The cars that bailed out 1/4 of the way into the race would have finished higher due to their distance covered...
Or am I just being pedantic ;-)

Oct 06: back from Dresden with my Trabant 601 Kombi
Jan 07: back from a month thru North Africa (via Timbuktu) in a S3 Landy
June 07 - back from Zwickau Trabi Treffen
Aug 07 & Aug 08 - back from the Lands End to Orkney in 71 pickup
Sept 2010 - finally gave up breaking down in a SII Landy...
where to break down next?
2013... managed to seize my 1275 just by driving it round the block :(

Interesting. I thought F1 rules were changed in 2006 with Did Not Finish (DNF Rule) ammended to allow low placed finishers to take positional points into the next race qualifying stage. Anyhooo, Minor would never meet the F1 car regs in any way shape or form. Just goes to show the strain those cars are under, when only 7 out of 22 cars managed to finish. Nice to see F1 cars with opposite lock on in some corners.

Many of the DNFs were driver error - not car failure.

Yes, well done Lewis, another case solved, although his sidekick deserves some credit.
