Porlock was fun! I don't recall Shap on the M6 being steep. Is the A6 route more interesting?

the hill has a sign on it that says 1in 8 then it goes to 1in 5 at the very top i walked to the top its hard work.i think a website badge would be a good idea,i would like to meet the people i chat to on the web,i think that event takes some beating my first time there fascinating place

I couldn't make it this time, but in the past website users have introduced themselves to me despite me not wearing a badge. I put it down to charisma

Seriously though, I think a badge, or if the weather is good, the tee shirt is a good idea.

Ah, I think Porlock is 1:4 at its steepest, and it's very twisty. I'd never heard of it when I first encountered it - the first I knew was when I saw the warning signs!

The idea of the badge is it can have both your real name and your website username on it.

Hmmm. After some of the postings relating to the future of the MMOC I'm not sure that it's a good idea to be instantly recognisable to the committee

I think the idea could be just a general website badge (after all, we're all capable of introducing ourselves) rather than one with names on?

Here are some general views to get a feel for the event, the ones I have included are biased to post war minors. We go most years in a 1938 Eight tourer, but this year we went in the modern - a 1971 Traveller.
