With the fact that it's a non-transferable number made clear, at last. Quite how that makes it worth 25k is still beyond me, though

HERE'S HOPING FOR SOMEONE IN THE FUTURE TO MAKE A T.V. SERIES CALLES IAN AND IF THEY WANT THIS PLATE ON ANY CAR THEN THEY MUST ASK THE OWNERS PERMISSION AND FOR A FEE OF COURSE(WHO KNOWS HOW LONG THAT WILL BE)

What happens to a non transferable reg if the car is written off or stolen? Would IAN then revert back to the DVLA? Would the insurance cover that?
