Is the Lowlight Tourer on Ebay Genuine?

Post by jonah »

Good Morning! :D
Is the Lowlight Tourer on Ebay Genuine?
As a hopeful soon to be owner of a Morris Minor. I was hoping I might be able to get some help/advice from genuine owners on the official site. I'd like to bid but what's it true worth? And how many are there about for me to perhaps wait for a restored lowlight tourer? Thanks in advance for any help. I think it's pretty great to be a part of something!!
Kind regards.
Alex.

Theres a thread about this car in the 'For Sale' section.

Probably not the best car to bid on if you're looking to buy your first minor. I don't know anything about lowlights but I'm sure someone on here will be able to provide more info.

http://www.morrisminoroc.co.uk/index.ph ... ic&t=19158 still I think it's probably better to ask the owner and go view the car yourself to check if its a genuine

Try the link marked 'cars for sale' on the message board main menu? :D

That car will sell well - even though it's in terrible condition - and will need a v generous budget both time and cash to restore !

Thank you Frank, much appreciated.
Not really too sure what I should be looking for, but I think as long as the paperwork is correct it'll be good enough for me. I was hoping to find a real wreck as i'd hate to have little bits welded everywhere!
Cheers.

Well you're looking at my dream Minor after the early LCVs! what you need to look for s mostly what parts are there and what not as parts are becoming very scarce to source! then there are the usual places like sillls floors etc!

I have 2 salvaged splitscreen window frame for changing your saloon into a non-original tourer/conv. No dodgy chassisplates, though.

I was going to cut our 52 sv but ended up buying a lowlight tourer!

I'm about 10 miles from Swansea, if anyone wants to drop by!
