Ford 5 speed. Incorrect speedo reading.

Post by fiftyfiveSII »

Can anyone tell me if there is a modification to make the speedo read correctly? At the moment, 30mph following a friends car, reads about 23mph on my speedo.
I have a 1275 Marina, Ford 5 speed box, 4.22.1 axle. and 13"minilites & 175-70-13 tyres.
Any thoughts welcome!

Get the speedo reclibrated. Not had it done myself (yet), but I've heard Speedy Cables are good, and know others will have tips too.

Just checked out the Speedy Cables website, the info they require seems straightforward.
They charge 45 quid + VAT and post.
