brake adjusters

can someone tell me the size of the front adjusters for 8 inch drums please

What would the size be measured in? They are larger than the rear ones, if that helps!

measured in inches i think across the slot.

rear 7" drums and front 7" drums are smaller than the later front 8" drums

The measurement for the front is 3/8''

The 8" adjusters are 10mm across the screwdriver slot. The 7" are 7.5mm. If you use the early type with the 8" brakes you will lose 5to 6 clicks of adjustment before the shoes reach the drums and you will only get to use half the lining thickness before you run out of adjustment.
The adjusters are available new. The rears never altered.

its just that i ,amged to get a job lot of about 40 adjusters with masks and wondered what they were for front or back or 8" or 7"

seems esm for example are out of stock of these
