This car, formally owned by my father. A tourer with a soft top. I am just interested in knowing if this car still exists, if posible I would like a picture of it. Al Corke

Hi Kevin. THis car always was in the uk and the reg. no. is a uk one. My father bought it before the war and had it until about 1954 I would think but it is hard to know exactly. Many happy memories though.

Hard to see how he got it 'before the war', if you mean WW2 - first one dates from 1948 :D

Shows how much I know! I thought it was an early Morris Minor, obviously not. It was a Morris tourer of some type though. Thanks for your help gentlemen, much appreciated.
Cheers.

There WAS an earlier car called the Morris Minor, but it's not dealt with on this site, sadly, hence the 'post war' bit in the club's description

There's an article about the pre-war Minors here, including some pictures of soft-tops.

Sorry to say it, but if it was last seen in the fifties and the DVLA don't have a record of the registration, I'd be surprised if it's still around. :(

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.

Not known to DVLA - the reg number doesn't exist.
