I had this too in the grease gun thread.
Unticking the Notify me when a reply is posted box sorted it but I'd have liked to follow the thread.

I had this too this morning, and I saw that the number of messages is not level up.

Its related to the 'Notify' me option. I've found the code and tables, now I just need to work out what's going on
