So whats in a name?

I was told that the Morris badge was derived through the cow on top of the wavy lines being cow and lea, which means meadow, so Cowley. Is this right or wrong? -Mark

Certainly one I've never heard before - and doesn't explain why Oxford so often uses a similarly themed logo

I'm pretty certain it is. If it was a lea, I think they'd have chosen green for the wavy lines :D
