Seems rather silly to me trying to stop a V8 lump with stock brakes! Insane might be another word.

My knowledge of mechanics isn't massive... but even I can see this is mental, haha!

Well, it is America - some of the mods there have to be seen to be believed.
But if drum brakes are good enough for a land yacht, then they must be fine for a Minor - he's obviously never heard of wolseley brakes

Will be ok for drag racing though, so long as there is plenty run off.
