Bolt size - Cam retainer

Hi,

Anyone know what size bolts hold the cam retainer plate on ?

(Not the head/spanner size)

the 3 bolts are for the plate are 1/4" unf

Make sure they are not over long or they will foul the camshaft!

That's why we need some new ones...

It's in a 1380 with timing belt kit, so there's very little clearance behind the cam pulley. Existing bolts had heads ground down a couple of mm, but even then, on this strip down only 2 came out cleanly.

Last one had to have a tickle with the MIG (and a nut welded on the end) so it would come out !

Should have measured the bolts before, but it's all packed in the garage at the moment because of this pesky grey Minor having surgery
