New member or am I
I became a member of the club a couple of weeks ago and despite a hiccup I am now able to log in on the clubs web site and have posted on the forum. But apart from that nowt. No membership card/pack. no welcome, no magazine. Is it usual to take this long or has my application fallen through a crack in the floor.

Get that crack in the floor welded up!XDB wrote:-snip- or has my application fallen through a crack in the floor.

But seriously, it could be the post this time of year as the post office recruit anyone, even if they can't read English, in the run up to Xmas.
Nice garage BTW, I'm jealous that you have so much space to work in- at a premium in my garage.
Try giving the club office a call, the nice lady there should be able to help you out over the phone if the application was lost in the post.
Cheers John - all comments IMHO

Thanks both I will try and find the tele no on the site. As for the garage I have an integral garage at the front of my bungalow. Its the standard width so makes working on a car difficult. The up side is that its nice and warm with no condensation. 4 years ago I had a 16foot by 14 foot concrete sectional garage built at the back. One neighbour hasn't spoken since (no loss) This winter I have had a 24 foot car port built between the garage and the house. I am blessed.

Hi, have you rang the Derby office and managed to sort your membership out? If not please telephone 01332 291675 or email liz.saxon@mmoc.org.uk

Is that worth a sticky for future ref of others??If not please telephone 01332 291675 or email liz.saxon@mmoc.org.uk

Well it would appear after a search by Liz that I am not. Don't know what happened, got a ref no but there is no record of my application. Have submitted a new application tonight, will I have to wait for the magazine to access the members area. I did have a password but it ran out beginning of January
Welcome to the site Liz. In my opinion this is exactly the sort of feedback from the Club it has lacked, and something I have been suggesting for some considerable time. Possibly we may see more of the committee becoming involved in the future.baggy wrote:Hi, have you rang the Derby office and managed to sort your membership out?
