Sorry if I mis informed. I checked our cylinders which are for the wide 9" Capri.
So I'm willing to accept that std cylinders are the same as Ital ones. Sorry for any confusion.
well...looks like i have opened a big old debate here! i will take it all on board though! I do have 7 springs, so if i can just take out the blocks(nice waste of 20 odd quid!!) and turn the springs, then i will. if i'm honest, although i love the height, it is becoming a real pain in the bum! so i will toy with the front end, and see if i can work something out. oh, and thanks to everyone for getting back to me about the brake parts too! much appreciated!
oh and IslipMinor...i have marina rear drums and marina discs up front, with a servo. engine is currently 1098, changing to 1275 in Jan. doing the brakes now so that i don't have the teething problems i would expect if i had fitted brakes, lowering and the engine in the same week. for once i did some thinking! alas, it has tumbled down in front of me with this lowering crap! it was supposed to be the easy bit! hilarious!
