Right!! Tested my pyromaniac skills today and found the following with regard to the flammability of brake fluid (Halfords DOT4):
Trying to light a puddle of it with a lighter: No ignition.
Trying to light a puddle of it with a blowtorch: No ignition - just moved around the floor.
Dropped a red hot nut into a puddle of it: Sizzled and hissed and smoked like hell but no ignition.
Soaked a paper towel in the fluid and lit it with a lighter: Ignition!!! well I think the paper towel burnt but the fluid did not catch as it produced a flame about the same intensity as without the fluid and it burned at the same rate. The only difference was that the fluid soaked towel burnt with a greenish flame. It was not that intense either as I blew it out.
So there we have it. Brake fluid is not flammable (in fact there is no flammable warning on the container - just a harmful one).

Are you MAD?? I would never smoke a fag - it's far too dangerous!See Cam on Live TV channel 24 8pm while he gargles with methanol and smokes a fag!
Cam be very afraid I sometimes work on that ward he he just think Mr Cam its time for your catheter change
I have managed to set fire to myself and my car quite a few times but they have only been small fires and put out quickly and I only have a few small scars

I have been on the receiving end of the North Staffs Royal Infirmary when I had a Mandibular / Maxillary Osteotomy so I know about pain, morphine (nasty nasty stuff) and having to sleep upright with 3 drains in (2 in your face!). To be honest, small fires don't compare!
