cab to cargo area rubber

Post by FrankM83 »

Hi, can anyone please give me an idea how to put the holes for the bolts in the rubber that fits between the cab and the cargo area of a van as the one I bought has no holes in it. Should I drill or what? Thanks

I think you need a thing called a core punch, drilling thin rubber dosnt work very well, you could try to sharpen a pipe of the right diameter I suppose.
I'll see you on the otherside'!

There are eyelet kits available now really cheap with a punch tool with multiple heads - that might do it - you might even find one at a £ shop or on fleabay.
Dont know if it would work but a soldering iron might make a neat hole where you need it?
