Strange noise when braking
Hello there, Basically there's a funny noise when I'm braking, at first I thought it was the bushes but on replacing them I noticed the old ones weren't actually in that bad a condition.
Suffice to say I still have the noise, I think it's coming from the drivers side rear brake. It sounds like something rotating and scraping quickly and it doesn't occur when I brake hard. I've had the drum off and a given it a clean up but I'm a bit stumped as to what could be causing it. Any advice would be much appreciated
Thanks for your time
Dan

Daft guess but are the rear shoes centrally located? they should set themselves the first time you use them but not if the base of the snail to top of the Cyl is corroded?
Now if it had been a kishuink not a kushunk then chances are thats one of the handbrake cables rubbing on the propshaft - trust me if the mountain dog is in the back it does it all the time. Just havn't got round to relocatng them.
Have a gander at your prop and see if there are any visible circular scribe marks.
If its a tinny jngly noise then thats your cause (well unless santas suck in the exhaust
