Never easy, and we are talking about 220Kg plus here, so couriers will want an arm and a leg as it's such a weight, there are health and safety issues, and the items will need to forklifted on and off the wagon.
However, worth a try, contact your local motor factors, and see if any get deliveries from the collection point. You may be able to strike a deal with one of them. Helps if you have a factor you do a lot of business with.

Plenty of pallet companies out there. I'm going to be needing this service for getting my engine up from down south. I reckon it will be around £100 - most pallet companies have a tail lift and a pallet truck.
